Engagements
Advisory
School admissions, relocation, curriculum planning, university — Oxbridge and Ivy admissions included. Executive and family-office education sits here too. The whole trajectory, held by one adviser.
Typical horizon five years and beyond, prep school to university.
How it works
Four things, each with a cost.
The same person who knows the student knows the schools you are choosing between, the curriculum you are moving away from, and what the next four years have to look like. Nothing is handed between people who have never met the family.
A relocation changes the curriculum question, which changes the school question, which changes what has to be taught this year. Advisory exists because those are one decision, not four, and they are usually taken by four different people.
Siblings at different stages, in different systems, sitting different papers. Executive and family-office education sits here too.
Five years and beyond, prep school to university. Advice given once at the point of crisis is not advisory, it is triage.
Where this one sits
One subject, one tutor, or the whole trajectory.
When this is not the right engagement.
If what you need is teaching now rather than a plan for the next five years, start with a subject tutor and come back to this when the immediate problem is handled. We would rather say that now than halfway through a first conversation.
The next step is a conversation, not a contract.
Tell us about the student. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right practice — and if we are not, who is.
